FROM THE HEAD
On Monday we welcomed Kieron, Alex and Natalie who performed Romeo & Juliet to our Year 8 pupils. They also took part in a workshop, which the pupils enjoyed very much.
’Break a leg’ to the thirteen pupils from Solent who will be representing Cowes Youth at the Global Rock event in Southampton tonight. (Report next week).
There are a number of sports events in the next two weeks. Good luck to all participants, results and reports to follow.

Wednesday 17th March – Tuesday 22nd March
In celebration of this event pupils are invited on Friday afternoon 19th March to dress as their favourite book character. Prizes of books from the Fair will be awarded to the most original book character.
Congratulations to 7JH who had 99.6% attendance last week.

Short Story Competition
“Out of this World”
All ages from 7-16 invited to write their own short story on anything that could be out of this world. Mythical, Magical, Space, Sci Fi, the choice is yours.
200-800 words, you will be judged on the content of the story – make sure it has a beginning, middle and end. Prizes to be won in three age categories.
Deadline is 1st April handed in to schools or 6th April handed in to your local library.
